parenthesis in Send Key

Postby americos » Thu Jul 23, 2009 4:54 pm

When using a parenthesis character '(' in the Send Key action, the parenthesis its ignored and is not being send.

for example:

Code: Select all

UPDATE leadlander.leadlanderdataall SET company=REPLACE( company,'"','' )

This is being sent to a console DOS window as:

Code: Select all

 UPDATE leadlander.leadlanderdataall SET company=REPLACE company,'"',''

Hello,

Parethesis symbols are using in SendKey in sombination with modifier keys like Control, Alt, etc. For example: ^(q). So, xStarter simply think you are trying to use modifiers.
Please, use parethesis twice, e.g.:
UPDATE leadlander.leadlanderdataall SET company=REPLACE(( company,'"','' ))
In this case it will not think about modifiers, but send only one symbol.
